Save the date: Saturday, September 19, 2009. 14th Annual Walk, Run and Roll to benefit Brattleboro Walk-In Clinic

About the 2008 Walk, Run and Roll:
The thirteenth annual Walk, Run and Roll 5-K Walk, run and 1 mile kid’s fun run was held on Saturday September 20, 2008. This is the Clinic’s major fundraising event and raises almost half our annual budget. All proceeds from this race go to support services provided by the Brattleboro Walk-In Clinic.

• 7:45am- Registration begins at BWIC (81 Belmont Avenue)
• 8:30am- Start of 1 mile youth fun run
• 8:45am- Start of 5-K walk event
• 9:00am- Start of 5-K run event
• The entry fee is $15.00 for adults & $2.00 for youths under 12
• The first 100 adults to register receive a free T-shirt

The race route begins at the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital entrance and heads out of the hospital parking lot to Belmont Avenue, left on Maple Street, then right on Guilford Street, turn right onto Winston Prouty Way and turn around and return along the same route finishing at the BMH entrance. As in past years BWIC intends to have the race route secured by Hunter North Security for participant safety.

Runners and walkers will be treated to a variety of prizes, entertainment and refreshments following the race behind the Dunham Building.
